FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is Ozone Dangerous?

Ozone can be very dangerous to humans at very high levels.  The HSE guidance note EH38 states that at concentrations of 50ppm (parts per million), a 30-minute exposure may be fatal to humans (click here).  Furthermore, relatively low Ozone concentrations of 0.1 - 0.2 ppm can cause respiratory problems with long term exposure.

At Ozone Ultra Clean, we believe it is of the utmost importance to ensure our clients are aware of the dangers of Ozone exposure.  Ozone is an amazing substance capable of achieving fantastic results, but as with all things there are risks that must be identified and minimised.  That is why we have co-developed the Ozone Ultra Pro.

The Ozone Ultra Pro makes Ozone safe to use as a sanitiser by giving operators complete control over the ozonation process from outside the area being treated and providing safety features that allow the removal of residual ozone in the fastest possible timescale.
